Apotech is a Life Science Management Consultancy, delivering outsourced services in Quality and Regulatory Affairs. We are still a small start-up, but with big ambitions! Fundamental to the business is to continue to create an organisation where employees are excited to come to work, are proud of what we do & who we are, and to push the boundaries of social responsibilities. We are now looking for a Finance Operations Manager who will take charge of the majority of financial activities and ensure the smooth process for our employees and clients.

What you will be doing:  

Operational finance 

  • Raise monthly invoices in coordination with the sales team
  • Monitor the successful completion of payments 
  • Structure tools and flows in order to automate / simplify repetitive operational tasks as much as possible
  • Ensure the management of monthly exchanges with the accountant
  • Manage multicurrency accounts

Management control and reporting 

  • Prepare monthly reports by sales channel (P&L, performance, data provided by our CRM)
  • Support other teams in carrying out ad hoc analyses with a performance or financial dimension (profitability of marketing activations, analysis of margins, etc.)
  • Contribute to the automation of Apotech reporting (performance, finance, etc.)
  • Financial planning
  • Manage the annual budget process in coordination with all teams
  • Ensure the good performance and consistency of quarterly reforecasts (P&L + cash flows)
  • Prepare budget and forecast presentations for the Board
  • Participate in major strategic discussions with top management (construction of business cases as part of the launch of new products, new channels, new countries, etc.)
  • Have ownership of the 5-year business plan and control its update

Requirements

  • You’ll have a financial or accounting background ideally within a Consultancy environment
  • Several years of experience within finance or operations
  • Fluent in English and French preferably
  • Familiar using CRMs, IT and automation
  • Able to wear multiple hats, whilst working in a small team
